Wits World documentation
Wits World is the project repository and development workspace. Wits Quest is the mobile-friendly, location-based campus exploration game being built within it.
This site brings together current product and technical reference, development and operational guidance, testing evidence, architecture decisions, and preserved Sprint-specific project records.
Read the Wits Quest Basic release overview for the clearest summary of what is currently delivered and how the protected player journeys fit together.
Choose a path
- Understand the product: begin with Product & Requirements for current rules, confirmed decisions, and player journeys.
- Develop or run the system: use the Developer Guide for a new checkout, then Development & Operations for local data, CI/CD, deployment, and database runbooks.
- Review the technical design: read Architecture for system boundaries and decisions, then Data & Database for domain, spatial, and persistence detail.
- Review quality and project evidence: use Testing & Quality for current verification and dated release evidence, and Project Management for methodology, Gitea work and bug tracking, plans, and Scrum records.
- Design the player experience: consult the Wits World design system for visual, interaction, accessibility, and content guidance.
Current reference appears before Sprint-specific or historical evidence in the navigation. Historical pages preserve what was known at the time and point to a current source when the repository provides one.
